Just a couple of months ago, I was making arrangements for a trip. My trip was going to last for over two weeks, so there were quite a few things that I had to figure out and get done before I left for my trip. Because I was flying to and from the destination of my trip, one of the things that I needed to make arrangements for was transportation during the course of my trip. Since I wasn’t going to a metropolitan destination, I decided that the best way to get where I wanted to go during the course of my trip was to have a rental car to use.
Once I decided that I was going to get a rental car to use during my trip, my next step was to track down a specific rental car to use. Now, since it’s 2008, instead of making a phone call or going anywhere in person, I simply turned on my computer and used my Internet browser to visit a website that allows you to compare rates from all of the major rental car companies. By comparing all of these rates, I was able to see which company was offering the lowest price on a rental car. After I saw which company was offering the lowest rate, I was able to make my reservation directly from my computer.
